fireside dining...gourmet candlelight dinners...Sunday champagne brunch...informal lunch...romantic overnight getaways...and, wedding rehearsal dinners.
Originally known as Warren's Tavern, The Bird and Bottle Inn
has been a working New York State inn since 1761. It was a resting place for stage coaches enroute to Albany
and while horses were changed passengers enjoyed food and drink at the tavern's tables. Although the Inn has
changed ownership a number of time, it still enjoys a reputation for top
rated gourmet dining and welcoming overnight accommodations.
Enjoy a romantic overnight getaway in rooms appointed with Colonial
furnishings including a four poster or canopied bed and working fireplaces. The Inn offers two rooms, a suite or a cottage, all with private baths.
The dining room with its period furniture and welcoming fireplace is a
warm and comfortable setting for an elegantly presented gourmet experience.
Dinner is served in four courses that includes choice of appetizer, salad, entree, dessert and coffee.
Entrees include...
Cioppino
seafood stewed in a white wine tomato sauce, served with fettuccini
Roasted Duck a l'Orange
Chicken Artichoke
grilled boneless breast of chicken, sun dried tomatoes, mushrooms and a hint of lemon
Grilled Certified Black Angus Strip Steak

Roast New Zealand Lamb Rack
mustard and basil crust with a rich wine jus
Baked Norwegian Salmon, Pesto Crust
