BUTTERFIELD MEMORIAL HOSPITAL

Pictures of the Hospital & grounds

Hospital looking toward the west and the Hudson River. This side shows the newer addition built before 1983.

Left: same as above but from Paulding Street showing size of parking lot. Right: looking north east from Rt 9 with Chestnut Ridge condos behind. Chestnut Ridge sits on former Butterfield property which was sold off around 1980.

Left: looking at the western end of Butterfield, facing east. The Carolyn Lahey Pavillion is in the foreground. This pavillion was built by the doctors on Butterfield grounds after a very fast burning fire on February 17, 1983 completely destroyed the original doctors Medical Arts Building. The "Hospital" collected $718,528 in insurance proceeds.
Looking north east from Rt 9, in between the two pictures above.
